Does anyone have a particular cookie recipe?
I have the following ingrediants available: milk sugar brown sugar eggs butter flour baking powder or soda Oatmeal Reiscrispies rasberry preserves vegetable oil oats bran cinnamon nutmeg honey ginger cream tarter I do not have chocolate chips or candy, and I know not like peanut butter cookies (I'm baking it for a trip for me and some friends) Thanks in advanced for suggections oh yes, I have to vanilla
Oatmeal cookies 3 eggs, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup soft butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 2 1 / 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons Baking powder 2 cups rolled oats 3 / 4 cup chopped pecans (optional) 1 cup raisins (optional) In a small bowl, mix the eggs (and raisins if using) and vanilla. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 ° C). In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder, add the cream mixture and stir until all dry ingredients are absorbed. Next stir in the egg mixture, Stir in the oats (and pecans, if using). Dough will be stiff. Drop by teaspoon on an unprepared cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated Oven until the edges are golden. Allow cookies to 5 minutes on the baking sheet before cooling completely on a wire rack to cool.
